Daimler’s involvement in environmental activities is aimed at supporting and developing projects which provide a benchmark for innovation and a legacy for local communities.

Daimler spends approximately $20 million every day on research and development, about half of which goes towards efforts to reduce CO2. This occurs through investments in hybrid and fuel cell technology, as well as optimising internal combustion engines with greater fuel economy and reduced pollutant and noise emissions.
