The dynamic V6 diesel engine for the GL 350 CDI 4MATIC BlueEFFICIENCY delivers a full 195 kW power output with a maximum torque rating of 620 Nm in the engine speed range 1600 to 2400 rpm.

GL 450 CDI 4MATIC

The GL 450 CDI 4MATIC is powered by a V8 diesel engine with 4-valve technology and common rail direct injection. 225 kW output and a maximum torque of 700 Nm ensure sporty performance combined with attractive fuel consumption.

GL 500 4MATIC

An engine of exceptional calibre lies in wait in the GL 500 4MATIC. You have 285 kW (388 hp) at the mercy of your right foot, which will whisk the GL 500 4MATIC from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.5 seconds. And with torque delivery peaking at 530 Nm at just 2800-4800 rpm, this engine is one of the most powerful and, at the same time, most economical drive units in its displacement category.
