The fifth generation of the AMG C-Class offers a perfect blend of extraordinarily impressive performance and expressive design. Outstanding power and agility are guaranteed by the combination of the AMG V8 engine and the perfectly matched AMG sports suspension with a newly developed, wider front axle and AMG speed-sensitive sports steering. The 7-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission ensures optimum delivery of engine power to the road, enhances driving dynamics with its ultra-smooth downshifts and makes for an even more enjoyable drive with its throttle-blip function. The new, specially optimised three-stage Electronic Stability Program ESP® and the AMG high-performance brake system also play key roles in delivering a safe and enjoyable driving experience.

But the really great thing about the C 63 AMG is that it is a genuine Mercedes-Benz in every respect – with all that that implies with regard to long-distance comfort, handling and safety – and offers an ideal combination of high performance and everyday practicality.

The C 63 AMG looks powerful even from the outside. Take for example the new engine bonnet with two pronounced powerdomes as well as the special AMG radiator grille with its central star and two chromed louvres. The chrome-edged fog lamps which extend outwards emphasise the width of the vehicle, as do the flared front wings. The side air vents in the front apron provide an outlet for the heat from the additional oil-cooler. Equipped with the Bi-Xenon headlights and the Intelligent Light System, the C 63 AMG features dark-tinted headlight lenses. From the side, the high-sheen 18-inch AMG alloy wheels in a titanium grey finish, the shapely integral "6.3 AMG” lettering on the wings and the AMG side skirts catch your eye. From the back the AMG rear apron with black diffuser inserts and three distinctive diffuser fins plus the AMG sports exhaust system with two chrome twin tailpipes and standard tail lights with LED technology set the accents typical of Mercedes. The AMG spoiler lip on the boot lid reduces lift and provides better driving stability.

The C 63 AMG Edition 63 sees the C 63 AMG surface hardened and machined with a sharper edge, featuring a variety of enhancements over and above the standard C 63 AMG.

There is a choice of one of two unique upholstery colours in soft designo leather – designo sand or designo classic red. These tones are complemented by extended black leather appointments on the dashboard, which features a contrasting stitching in the upholstery colour. The door armrests and centre arm rest feature double-stitching. There are three designo paint finishes available, all exclusive to this limited-edition model. These include designo mystic white, designo platinum black, and for the first time the introduction of designo magno allanite grey; a premium matte finish.

DTM-style 19-inch alloy wheels provide not only sufficient brake cooling but unique styling. Not available on the standard C 63 AMG, these stunning multi-spoke wheels are painted in titanium grey with a high-sheen finish and wear high-performance tyres measuring 235/35 R19 on the front and 255/30 R19 on the rear.
