The Mercedes-Benz Coach chassis of the 0 500 series, provides specifications for touring comfort and safety incorporating electronic brakes (EBS) with anti-lock braking system (ABS) as well as acceleration skid control (ASR).

The Mercedes-Benz 0 500RF chassis is powered by the Mercedes-Benz OM 457, turbocharged, inter-cooled twelve litre engine, using the BlueTec® Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) principle to meet regulatory emission standards. The Mercedes-Benz 0 500RF 3 axle chassis is designed for coach build for 12.5m in length and up to 14.5m in length with operator obtained regulatory permits.

The Mercedes-Benz midi-coach 0 510 (1228L) chassis is powered by the Mercedes-Benz OM 926, turbocharged, inter-cooled seven litre engine, also using the BlueTec® Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) principle to meet regulatory emission standards. The 13t midi-coach chassis is suitable for smaller touring groups with seating capacity commencing from 36 passengers*.
