The Mercedes-Benz 0 500LE chassis is powered by the Mercedes-Benz OM 457, turbocharged, inter-cooled twelve litre engine, using the BlueTec® Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) principle to meet regulatory emission standards. This chassis provides a heavy duty platform for operators in high density transport cities/regions.

The Mercedes-Benz 0 500U chassis is powered by the Mercedes-Benz OM 926, turbocharged, inter-cooled seven litre engine, using Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) principle to meet regulatory emission standards. This chassis can be used for route services in rural and regional areas for town services.
